My Pet Products ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Click events: when you click an affiliate link, we log the product, destination retailer, timestamp, a hashed (not raw) IP, and your browser user-agent. We use this to measure which content is useful.
- Analytics: aggregated page views and traffic sources via privacy- respecting analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
- Contact form: anything you voluntarily send us via /contact.
What we do not collect
- We do not require accounts. There is no login on this site.
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- We do not run third-party advertising trackers or remarketing pixels.
Affiliate cookies
When you click through to a retailer (Amazon, Chewy, etc.), that retailer sets their own cookies and is governed by their privacy policy — not ours. Those cookies are how we earn a commission if you purchase. You can clear them at any time via your browser.
Data retention
Click logs are retained for 13 months and then deleted. Aggregated analytics are retained indefinitely with no personal identifiers.
Your rights
To request deletion of any data we hold about you, email us via the contact page. We comply with GDPR and CCPA requests within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and (where you've given us your email) notify you.
