How we pick products

Every product we recommend is selected against a checklist: real owner reviews across multiple retailers, ingredient/material quality, safety recalls and incident reports, warranty and customer-service track record, and value relative to comparable options. We weigh first-party shopper signal (verified-purchase reviews, return rates, BBB complaints) over manufacturer marketing copy.

How we make money

When you click through to a retailer from our site and buy something, we earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. We're an Amazon Associate and a participant in other affiliate programs (Chewy, Petco, PetSmart, and direct partnerships with select pet brands).

Affiliate commissions never change our rankings. We don't take payment to feature products, we don't run sponsored posts disguised as reviews, and we publish products from retailers we have no commercial relationship with whenever they're the best pick. Where we earn more from one retailer than another, we still point readers to the one with the best price/availability.

What we don't do

We don't manufacture or sell our own products.
